Heavy rain for most of the day so I got busy: finished all of my seed sowing until the 14th of March, which is when I get back from my hiking holiday. Also made a start on my massive planting week on the allotment.

Made up a new compost heap with stable bedding
Stunning cycle ride today along the seafront, about 40 miles round trip, although I stopped for breakfast
Favourite place to stop for a walk and to admire the beach
Popped to the allotment to plant early brassicas for a hungry nap harvest
Fleeced this bed of spinach and lettuce, because I re-allocated it’s low tunnel
Planted salad onions and green onions down the centre of the asparagus for a late spring harvest

Monday’s compost bin is now at 65c, about right
Cycled the 12 miles to Cleveleys for breakfast
Cut and fed the grass and weeded the garden
