I'm trying something new with my diary. Rather than just publish it on this website, I'm also going to record a new weekly video, called "The gardening week'. This diary, will be the show notes for the video.
<aside> 💡 I'm no longer publishing the audio from the video as a podcast, as it’s too expensive and not worth the effort when it seems that YouTube will soon be providing a podcasting experience.

I left Debbie working in the front garden, laying down old potato compost on the beds and fresh wood chip on the paths. We finished harvesting the front garden veg on Sunday and we wanted it all ready to go with new veg in spring! I went cycling!
Front garden post harvest
Front garden beds all mulched and tidy
Cycling along the seafront
New half way cafe for cycling has opened, very comfy!
I also sowed my second batch of seeds for the month:
Spent the morning out walking with Willow in the carrier
Then at home doing the housework
Planted spare brassicas (calabrese, cauliflower, Brussels) in a spare bed
Evening walk
Gave the kitchen garden a really good tidy, 9 beds ready for spring planting
Stunning frosty morning
Very big tidy up on the plot. Emptied the shed, every draw and shelf
