We used to have a huge surplus of fruit, but once we discovered how well it dehydrates and how long it lasts - and tastes - we were hooked.
We don't grow our own wheat, so our gardens make a very limited contribution to the breads that we bake - actually just one - squash. Debbie makes a bread to which she adds Crown Prince Squash, the result is orange and delicious.
