I'm trying something new with my diary. Rather than just publish it on this website, I'm also going to record a new weekly video, called "The gardening week'. This diary, will be the show notes for the video.
<aside> 💡 I'm no longer publishing the audio from the video as a podcast, as it’s too expensive and not worth the effort when it seems that YouTube will soon be providing a podcasting experience.

Removed the old - rotting - pallet fence on my plot, ready for new climbing frame
Replanted the planting pockets in my pallet fence with alpines
Potted on 4 seed potatoes into their final containers
My conservatory growing corner is looking quite green now
Hoping my new car will be a bit longer for transport to the allotments!
Building my climbing squash and legume frame
Squash will climb strings from a top support and fruits will hang over cross beams, yet to be fitted
High winds today, but much worse expected so I didn’t do much gardening. Instead I gave the house and car their big spring cleans.
I did turn my compost heap and repair one of the sides with wood from the scrap wood pile on the site.
At 1 year old Willow’s graduated to the rocking horse!
It was also Willow’s 1st birthday, it was a difficult year, but she pulled though and is doing splendidly!
Micro harvest this week due to the bad weather
